On December 18, 2020, the annual national contest "Know Belarus" was held at the President Hotel. The contest has been held for 18 years already, it is called upon to promote the development of Belarusian tourism.

The Mir Castle Complex Museum was awarded the Diploma of the competition for the development of domestic tourism.

A creative meeting with artists, authors of works presented at the exhibition “Harmony of Architecture”, took place on December 16, 2020.

On December 16, 2020 a festive event was held in the Portrait Hall of Mir Castle, timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the inclusion of the Mir Castle Complex in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List and the 10th anniversary of the opening of the main museum exposition.

This day, on December 2, 2000, Mir Castle Complex was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List at a meeting of the World Heritage Committee in Cairns (Australia). The architectural complex was the first cultural object to be recognized as unique in Belarus. Thanks to this it became recognizable outside our country.
