Where can you see more than a hundred ladies and gentlemen dressed up in luxurious outfits from past centuries, gathered to enjoy the atmosphere of the era? Of course, at the Christmas Ball in Mir Castle, which this year was held with special grandeur and magic.

Before the event began, all the ladies were given elegant ball programs, where they could mark their dances with partners, thus creating their unique itinerary for the evening. After the welcoming speech by the director of the Mir Castle Complex museum, the ball opened with a ceremonial polonaise.

Throughout the evening, a gaming salon operated, where everyone could try their hand at old games: tru-madam, chess, alquerque, goose, and others. Participants were told about the secret language of fans and the language of flowers, which was a pleasant discovery for many. At the ball, they also learned to dance the gallop, padégra, and menuet—dances from past eras that delighted the participants.

Amidst the festive merriment, an unexpected surprise was the "Magic Nut," from which a beautiful ballerina appeared. This moment became the highlight of the evening and evoked a storm of applause.

The night tour through the dark halls of the castle added intrigue and mystique to the ball's program. Guests eagerly awaited the unveiling of the secrets held by the ancient walls and the stories they contain.

The evening concluded with an award ceremony for the best couples of the night and a traditional polonaise, which became the final chord of this unforgettable event. The audience's ovations lingered long after, emphasizing the high level of organization of the ball.

Guests unanimously noted: "Balls at Mir Castle are the best in the Republic of Belarus! They are heartfelt, atmospheric, and genuine." Thus, the Christmas Ball in Mir once again confirmed its reputation as an unforgettable event, becoming a symbol of true cultural heritage and warm human connection.
