The theme for International Museum Day 2021 is “The Future of Museums: Revive and Rethink”.

On May 15, on the eve of the International Museum Day, which is celebrated on May 18, we invite you to play not only the historical games that were revived in Mir Castle, but also those games that have changed over time and have become extremely popular among different categories of visitors.

On May 8, at 12.00 p.m., a concert dedicated to Victory Day took place in the courtyard of Mir Castle. The Variety Brass Orchestra of Grodno Regional Department of the MES performed for the guests on this day.

The Mir Castle Complex Museum takes part in 23rd International Exhibition for Tourism “LEISURE-2021”, which takes place in Minsk from 23 to 25 April.

One of the most terrible man-made disasters of the twentieth century the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant took place on April 26, 1986. The tragedy affected not only the fate of people, but also many places turned into black holes on the map of Belarus. Before the accident, there were 1283 historical monuments and 97 architectural monuments in the resettled territory. 

On April 16, 2021 at 1.30a.m. a creative meeting with the Belarusian poet Leonid Dranko-Maisyuk and the Belarusian poetess, prose writer, journalist and literary critic Lyudmila Rublevskaya took place in the Conference hall of Mir Castle.
