On September 19–21, 2024, Olga Novitskaya, Deputy Director for Scientific and Educational Work, Tatyana Kozhukh, Senior researcher, Olga Kolosovskaya and Natalia Kovalevich participated in the II International scientific conference "The phenomenon of Border and Cross-border in History and Culture", which was held at the Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution "Smolenskaya Fortress State Museum".

On September 20, 2024, filming of one of the scenes of the film "Not alone at Home 2" took place on the territory of the Mir Castle. This is the sequel to the popular film with Milana Khametova.

On September 17, 2024, middle and high school students of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School of Mir named after A.I.Stashevskaya", accompanied by teachers, visited the temporary photo exhibition "Mir in the photo: 100 years from the century of the past to the present day", where a presentation was held for them.

The exhibition project combined photographic material from the collections of the Mir Castle Complex Museum, the Stashevskaya Mir Secondary School Historical and Local Lore Museum, family archives of local residents and open sources.
