The Peace Capsule was handed over for storage to the Mir Castle Complex Museum

The Chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee Vladimir Karanik took part in the solemn ceremony. The capsule of peace for storage for a period of 25 years was accepted by the director of the castle complex Alexander Loiko. As the participants of the ceremony noted, holding the action on February 2, they recall the events of 80 years ago - the day the Battle of Stalingrad ended. This general battle of the Great Patriotic War marked the beginning of the defeat of Nazi Germany and the onset of peace on earth.
