Excursion and round table: career guidance event at Mir Castle

On December 18, 2024, a career guidance round table was held in the small conference hall of the Mir Castle for students of the specialty "Museum business and protection of historical and Cultural heritage" of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.  The event was dedicated to the main activities of the Mir Castle Complex Museum.

Olga Vasilyevna Novitskaya, Deputy Director for Scientific and Educational Work, presented the organizational structure of the museum, describing in detail the functions of each department and the specifics of working in them.  Special attention was paid to the job responsibilities of tour guides and junior researchers – potential jobs for graduates.  Students had the opportunity to ask questions about housing, social benefits and other measures to support young professionals.

The round table ended with a tour of the main exposition in the Northern Building of the Mir Castle.
